Young At Art Musuem
The Young At Art Museum & Broward County Library is
located at 751 Southwest 121st Avenue, Davie which is just 20 minutes from the
heart of Weston. The museum is one of just 8 major cultural institutions in the
county of Broward. There are 5 exhibition galleries in the museum with
education sessions available. The exhibits in the museum fall in categories of
ArtScapes, CultureScapes, GreenScapes, WonderScapes, Knight Gallery,
Orientation Gallery and Bedlam Lorenz Assembly. The Art Institute portion of
the museum offers studio art classes, art camps, museum preschool and studio
art workshops.
GameTime
Game Time is a family entertainment center which has several
locations in Florida, one of which is located at 2334 Weston Road in Weston.
Game Time ideal for group functions of all natures including after prom
parties, sport team celebrations, wedding rehearsal dinners/entertainment,
field trips, comedy shows, Corporate team building events, youth groups and

swamp walks, kayaking and canoeing. There are boat tours, nature tours and
sightseeing tours offered for all ages.
Ride the Wind
Ride the Wind is located at 1006 North US Highway 27 in
Weston and offers boat and sightseeing tours. The boat tour is an exciting
adventure which consists of customized hi-performance air boats and being able
to see an abundance of wildlife in the Everglades including native birds,
alligators, deer, snakes and fish.
The Cheese Course
The Cheese Course is located at 1679 Market Street in Weston
and is a European style cheese shop that offers over 150 artisanal cheeses. The
shop offers a cheese course to sit and enjoy. There is also a bistro menu which
offers sandwiches and salads and books and magazines to read about cheese.
Devils Garden Bird Park
The Devils Garden Bird Park is just about an hour from the
heart of Weston at 33024 County Road 833 in Clewiston. The park features over
100 species of wild birds which includes endangered species. Birds that have
been seen at the park include snail kites, ibis, roseate spoonbills, sandhill
cranes, limpkins, hawks, osprey and eagles.
Spady Cultural Heritage Museum
Located approximately 45 minutes outside of Weston at 170
Northwest 5th Avenue in Delray Beach, this museum is a non-profit organization
that is dedicated to the discovery, collection and sharing of Florida’s
African-American history and heritage. There are a wide range of changing
exhibits from contributions of the Haitian, African and Caribbean-American culture
to Florida’s and the US’ artistic landscape.
Golfing in Weston
For the lovers of golf, there are beautiful well-known
courses in Weston. The Bonaventure Country Club is one such course which is
located at 200 Bonaventure Boulevard in Weston. The course features 18 holes.
Weston Hills Country Club is located at 2600 Country Club Way in Weston and
also features 18 holes.
