Weston is a small suburban community located near to the western boundary of Broward County.

Country Isles Park

Country Isles Park is located at 2260 Country Isles Road in Weston. At the park residents can find gazebo with benches, an exercise path, an open play area and a shaded playground. Country Isles Park is approximately 4 acres in size.

Eagle Point Park

The Eagle Point Park is located at 18691 North Lake Boulevard in Weston. The park is approximately 7 acres and houses to baseball fields, a sand volleyball court, an open play area and shaded playground, an exercise path and is also dog friendly.

Emerald Estates Park

Located at 16400 Emerald Estates Drive in Weston, the Emerald Estates Park is a 5 acre neighbourhood park. It is home to a basketball court, tennis courts, an exercise path, fitness stations, and 2 picnic shelters with tables and grill. The picnic shelters are usually rented or reserved.

Gator Run Park

The Gator Run Park is located at 1101 Park Road and is approximately 7 acres in size. The park has amenities such as: a shaded playground, 3 small picnic shelters, lighted walkways and exercise paths, restroom facilities and a dog friendly zone. Dogs are to be kept on their leashes which should be maximum 6 inches in length. The park is located right next to the Gator Run Elementary School.

Heron Park

The Heron Park at 2300 Country Isles Road is adjacent the Country Isles Elementary School. The park is equipped with 2 baseball fields and a soccer/football field. The park is also dog friendly.

Indian Trace Park

The Indian Trace Park is located at 400 Indian Trace in Weston and is approximately 5 acres in size. The parks has a baseball field, a shaded playground, a soccer/football field and a basketball court.

Library Park

The Library Park is a reading park located at 4255 Bonaventure Boulevard adjacent to the Weston Branch Library. The park has 3 gazebos, lighted pathways, seating and open areas for picnics and Florida Author’s Fountain.

Peace Mound Park

This park is located at 1300 Three Village and is approximately 8 acres. There is a shaded playground, an exercise/bike path and a fishing dock.

Regional Park

Regional Park is the main park in Weston and is located at 20200 Saddle Club Road and is over 100 acres in size. The park carries amenities such as 8 baseball fields, 2 futsal fields, 1 event stage, 8 football/soccer fields, 8 basketball courts, 5 roller hockey rinks, 3 sand volleyball courts, 3 picnic shelters with tables and grills and 5 concession stands with restrooms. The Regional Park does not allow dogs. The Regional Park is also home to the Weston Community Center which hosts a wide variety of recreational programs for all ages.
Tequesta Trace Park

The Tequesta Trace Park is a 42 acre community park located at 600 Indian Trace in Weston. The Park is equipped with 4 baseball/soccer fields, 1 football field with stadium seating, 1 roller hockey rink, a running track, a shaded playground and concession stand with restrooms.

Ruth K. Broad-Bay Harbour Elementary School

Ruth K. Broad-Bay Elementary is located at Bay Harbour Islands and provides a strong academic program. The school emphasizes the importance of community.

The Shul - Jewish Community Centre

The Shul is located at 9540 Collins Avenue is Bal Harbour. The Shul is a meeting place for educational, religious, social, cultural, and family events. The Johnson and Wales University is located just 3 miles outside of Bal harbour in North Miami. It is a small private college offering undergraduate programmes. Barry University

The Barry University is located at 11300 Northeast 2nd Avenue which is approximately 20 minutes from the centre of Bal Harbour. The school is Roman Catholic in faith and offers both undergraduate and graduate programs. The Barry University is a private mid-size college and focuses on a well-rounded education.

Everest Institute North Miami

Talmudic College is located approximately 35 minutes away from Bal Harbour in the Miami Beach area. The school is Jewish in faith, it is a small four year private college and it offers graduate and undergraduate programs.

Surfside Community Centre

The Surfside community centre is located at 9301 Collins Avenue in Surfside, a community just 5 minutes south of Bal Harbour. This community centre provides activities and programs for all different ages. The centre is also equipped with recreational services such as pools and parks.

Young At Art Musuem

The Young At Art Museum & Broward County Library is located at 751 Southwest 121st Avenue, Davie which is just 20 minutes from the heart of Weston. The museum is one of just 8 major cultural institutions in the county of Broward. There are 5 exhibition galleries in the museum with education sessions available. The exhibits in the museum fall in categories of ArtScapes, CultureScapes, GreenScapes, WonderScapes, Knight Gallery, Orientation Gallery and Bedlam Lorenz Assembly. The Art Institute portion of the museum offers studio art classes, art camps, museum preschool and studio art workshops.

Birds that have been seen at the park include snail kites, ibis, roseate spoonbills, sandhill cranes, limpkins, hawks, osprey and eagles.

Spady Cultural Heritage Museum

Located approximately 45 minutes outside of Weston at 170 Northwest 5th Avenue in Delray Beach, this museum is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the discovery, collection and sharing of Florida’s African-American history and heritage. There are a wide range of changing exhibits from contributions of the Haitian, African and Caribbean-American culture to Florida’s and the US’ artistic landscape.

Golfing in Weston

For the lovers of golf, there are beautiful well-known courses in Weston. The Bonaventure Country Club is one such course which is located at 200 Bonaventure Boulevard in Weston.
